Proportion of casting demand in downstream industries

The automotive automation industry accounts for the largest proportion of casting demand. There is relatively little demand in industries such as construction machinery, mining machinery and pipe fittings. This also reflects the rapid development of the automotive automation industry in the domestic market over the past year.

Proportion of castings of various materials

Gray iron and ductile iron are still the most widely used materials in industrial production. However, it is not difficult to see from the data in 2023 that the usage rate of lightweight materials such as aluminum-magnesium alloy has increased compared with previous years. Aluminum-magnesium alloy is the main application material for new energy vehicles, which also reflects the rapid development momentum of China’s new energy vehicle industry.
